Malta Artisan Christmas Market at Palazzo Parisio

The first of the Malta Artisan Christmas Markets is being held within the enchanting walls of Palazzo Parisio, in the charming village of Naxxar.

Fairyland in Valletta
10 December – 07 January
This yearly Christmas market in Valletta takes over the Pjazza Tritoni right outside the City Gate. Mulled wine and mince pies never go amiss, while live performances take place on stage. For a spot of special Christmas shopping, an artisan market stretches all the way into Floriana gardens.
The festive cheer continues into the New Year as Fairyland is open until the 7th of January.
Christmas at Fort St Elmo, Valletta
02 - 03 December
Heritage Malta is organising an unusual family-oriented Christmas experience at Fort St Elmo where the main areas will be transformed into an unusual Christmas village.
Children can enjoy an interactive kids’ area where they can meet Santa Clause and post their Christmas wish list to Santa, while you soak in the historic atmosphere!
Browse various artisans’ stands for that unique Christmas gift or enjoy a traditional crib exhibition while you savour traditional delicacies such as mulled wine, local imbuljuta, roasted chestnuts, date-filled pastries, and honey rings.
Woodland Christmas Market, Malta National Park Ta’ Qali, Attard
15 – 17 December
Experience the first ever Woodland Christmas Market which is being held at the heart of the green spaces in Malta’s National Park!
This market will be spread over three days and is aims to offer a wonderful experience among the trees and large passages of the Park.
Christmas food and sweets, and authentic Maltese products and crafts promise for a lovely Christmas shopping experience for everyone on your list. The Kids4Kids Market will showcase the creativity of young artisans, empowering them to trade and become mini-entrepreneurs.
There will be dedicated spaces with activities, workshops and entertainment for children, including a day of inspiration and great deals on pre-loved items.
Gigantic - Kirkop's Local Christmas Market, Hal Kirkop

Hal Kirkop is is a small village in the south of Malta, and is among one Malta’s oldest, settlements, having discovered links to the ancient Phoenicians.
The annual Christmas Market is on again this year, and the local council has organised a festive treat. This charming market nestles within the tranquil village lanes is a delight not to be missed.
Natalis Notabilis – Christmas Village, Rabat

After a few years’ absence, Natalis Notabilis is back as one of Malta’s largest Christmas markets, transforming Rabat’s charming streets into a festive experience.
The much loved traditional food and sweets will be sold, and if you’re looking for some Christmas stocking ideas, a variety of artisanal products will also be on sale. You could also enjoy a visit to the neighbouring citadel of Mdina afterwards!
